I've been a student of universal laws/personal growth and a keen writer since she was a child. Recently I brought these two loves together in the form of a book called The Mastery Club, in which five adolescents learn about their amazing potential and set out to realise their dreams. The Mastery Club is fast becoming a favourite with readers of all ages. With a Foreword by Dr John Demartini, endorsement from Drew Heriot, director of The Secret, and testimonials from children, teenagers, parents, teachers, entrepreneurs, psychologists and ministers, The Mastery Club has something for everyone. Launched in July 2006, it is currently in its third print run and was recently a medallist in the 2007 Independent Book Publisher Awards, Youth Fiction category. My other writing includes numerous articles and short stories. I have won several short story awards, including First and Second Prize in the Australasian Short Story Award (2004). In 1987 I began working as a Creative Writing tutor to community groups and to teenagers on "Discovery!" a personal development, accelerated learning program. I went on to teach adult education groups at colleges and universities, and taught Creative Writing at Monash University in the Short Courses Centre from 1999 to 2006. I've dabbled in corporate training (writing skills) and seen several of my plays performed in (very!) amateur theatre. A home educating parent of three, I wrote "The Washhouse Blues" for the primary-aged children of the Home Education Network we belong to, then directed and produced the play in November 2003. Despite building a growing marketing business in the health industry, when I was seized by the urge to write The Mastery Club, I stepped back from the other business and threw myself into writing and learning about self-publishing and marketing. Writing, marketing and speaking/presenting workshops are now my primary 'work'. A current project is The Champion Series - picture books for children about modern leaders. The first book, The Boy Who Barked, features the authorised story of Dr John Demartini and will be released early in 2008. Other loves are my partner Derek and our three children, Jeremy, Emma and Lesley, who have been home educated for most of their lives. I am also passionate about ballroom/latin dancing and our beautiful earth.

During 1999 my poem "Suzanne", about the death of my sister when she was only 24, was published in an anthology entitled, "The Second Worst Thing" and then in "Bone of my Bone" in 2000.

My first short play was produced in amateur theatre in 1982, entitled "The Path of Betrayal" (later renamed "Sticks and Stones".)

In 1994 I wrote and produced a small phamphlet called 'A Quick Guide to Happiness'.
