Many years ago, I can't remember the number, when I was blue, I used to pray to the Lord for a sign of Hope. Within hours I would always see a deer. Be it across a field, or standing in a field. Sometimes on the side of the road grazing. One day I had been going through an extremely difficult time. I remember the tears and how I felt hopeless. I prayed that day, maybe not expecting much hope, or help. As I went throughout the day I forgot about that prayer. Later that afternoon as I sat in the family room I looked out across the field. It was almost dusk, there was something in the field. Not an unusual sight in a farming community. I walked to the window to get a better view. There standing in front of me was not one deer, but an entire herd of deer. HE is ever present in my life.  If you're a  writer don't ever give up your dream, keep writing.
