Mary Epps is the youngest child of six children.  She was born Mary Ann Auston in Newport News, VA.  She graduated from Menchville high school and soon after married her high school sweetheart.  That marriage ended after 20 years and to that union two children were born, Fernandez and Destyni Lassiter.  Married went to college and earned degrees in education and nursing.  In 2004 Mary married her soul mate and they have been married for four years.  She started writing as a child, but did not take it seriously until her adult years.   Mary is mostly influenced by the author and play write Tyler Perry.   Tyler Perry's work is influential to her because his work always has a message.  Mary always wanted her work to leave a message in the minds of her readers. Mary resides in Hampton, VA with her family and continues to write.  Mary encourages her readers to travel with Terry and Andre, who are the characters in her books The Other Woman and the sequel I Thought That I Could Change Him.  What a trip it will be.
