In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
This book represents a thirty-day period of my poetry journal. Each poem addresses
the dominant thoughts occupying my mind during the early morning hours of a given
day.
Writing has always been apart of my life, in some form or another for as long as I could remember. It's the one thing that I can always look to for comfort and joy. Expression is my center for peace and without writing, I would be incomplete. I truly feel blessed to have a gift that allows me to express myself using words. And being able to share my thoughts with someone else and the ability to uplift a person's spirit who could ask for anything better.
