65 Italian born, I was raised around the world mostly in Nigeria, USA and India. Now I live in Rome, Italy, but I’m always open to moving around.   Before becoming a writer, I was an avid reader. I've read a great number of authors, Italian and English, mostly in fiction, but not only. I can name just a few of my favorite authors: Mrilylin French, Joyce Carol Oates, Philip K. Writing novels that are on the edge of accepted conventions is my brand, and I guarantee an erotic earthquake with each book! Among others, they include the scorching dark fantasy Virtus Saga books, all eight of them, along with the kindred spirits of both the ReScue and the Soulmate Series, not to mention my horror novels and a few historical ones. Today, I write both in Italian and English, mostly fiction of various genres, from erotica -sub-genres fantasy, sci-fi, paranormal, contemporary- to mysteries up to plain ordinary life stories.   One final warning about me. You may not find too many info on the web under my real name. I prefer using a nickname Lalla Gatta, which fits my profile to a tee: Lalla is an affectionate diminutive for Laura ahd Gatta means cat in Italian.  

I have recently released the last of an 8-book long series, the Virtus Saga that started with The Sex Book 1, then continued with The Game, The Festival, The Leader, The Pledge, The Heat, The Princess and The Lord. This series will also be in print, starting with The Sex coming in 2016.

Among my other achievements and critical acclaims, there is also my ReScue Series, a true borderline story about two souls reincarnating in consecutive lifetimes to resolve their issues. If hot bloodied sex and edgy knife play are the means through which they reaffirm their bond every time, it's because their connection is so strong, only the physical side of it takes precedence every time they meet. But it cannot go on forever.
Book 1 Re-Scue has also been released as an audio book, while Book 2 Tasting Leon's Mark is currently undergoing re-editing for a second ppublication. In the meantime, I'm also working on the third book of the series, working title Aware-Ness.

Another appreciated series of mine is the Soulmate Series, which raises the interesting question: what happens if your soulmate wants nothing to do with you? It's what happens to Martin and the way he'll have to reel Drake in is the leit motif of the two books, To Seduce A Soul Mate and The Pirate's Surrender.
