What motivates my writing is the desire to tell stories to children...to touch their lives and to make a difference. 

I am the author of Where Am I Sleeping Tonight - A Story of Divorce, Boulden Publishing, fall 2008, an About.com Readers' Choice 2012 finalist for Best Children's Book for Single Parents. The picture book, Ruth The Sleuth and The Messy Room, came out in December 2011 on Character Publishing’s debut list. It received the Children's Literary Classics Seal of Approval. Mazo Publishers brought the book back to print February, 2018. The picture book, Before I Sleep: I Say Thank You, released January 1, 2015 with Pauline Books & Media, and is now in its third printing. It was the 3rd place winner in the Catholic Press Association’s 2016 Book Awards in the children’s category and was a finalist for the ACP Excellence in Publishing Awards 2016. My first e-book came out with Schoolwide, Inc., spring 2015 and my new book came out December 2016 with Clavis Books. Mama, wist je dat? the Dutch version, released first. The English version, You Know What? released September 1, 2017 and was a CLEL Bell Picture Book Awards Nominee for Talk (2018) and an SCBWI Crystal Kite Award finalist (2018), New England region. The Korean language translation released 2019 and Chinese and Arabic language editions are in process.
