The Library Is The Perfect Place
by Carol Gordon Ekster
Rated "G" by the Author.

This article is a great tool for parents, librarians, and elementary school teachers to teach proper library behavior as well as reference and genre terms, in a humorous way to kindergartners through fifth grade students.

This concept piece opens on with the idea that an imposing librarian is shaking her finger at a misbehaving child.  The book continues in a pattern, “If you want to shoot hoops, don't do it at the library.  But...If you want to play basketball, or any other sport, check out a nonfiction book to learn the rules of the game.  The library is the perfect place to go.”
