Both Mom and Dad were storytellers. Mom kept the family history. Dad turned us into broomsticks and hat racks for the sake of a tall tale. I followed his lead. I majored in Humanities at Scripps College in Claremont. Later, I continued in Psychology at Antioch in Venice, CA. Taught English at Santa Monica College, and wrote profiles and reflective essays for "The Desert Woman" a news magazine in the Coachella Valley for 15 years.
