I am 37 years old and based in London. I have been writing since childhood but the first 'adult' novel I read was 'Lace' by Shirley Conran. I was blown away by this bitchy tale and decided it was the sort of thing I wanted to write when I grew up. When I saw the mini series 'Return to Eden' in 1986 my best friend and I decided we were going to write our own version of the series. After a couple of weeks my friend had produced a paragraph, I had written a 250 page novel!
