I have a deep appreciation for the panorama of history.  I'm an active genealogist and developed a deep curiosity about times, peoples and cultures past.   Being an avid reader I have always enjoyed a good story. 

I've found that the "unexplained" is of personal interest and thus I've developed an abiding interest in the paranormal. 

Mixing history, the paranormal and romance makes for a broad canvas to paint a rousing good yarn.
