Tia Stewart is an African-American writer whose penchant for verbiage started in the fifth grade when her teachers thought she was passing handwritten notes about boys, but she and her best friend were editing each other’s books and magazine articles. Her third book is a poetry novel, Colors of Man: Tribute to African-American Men due for release December 2009.
