Tia Stewart is an African-American writer whose penchant for verbiage started in the fifth grade when her teachers thought she was passing handwritten notes about boys, but she and her best friend were editing each other’s books and magazine articles. She writes in several genres, but poetry is her passion.   Ms. Stewart is an RN, who attended Northwestern University and is an alumnus of Norfolk State University, and Excelsior University.
