I have been a story teller since childhood; I took journalism in school, and was sidetracked by a love for cosmetology, which was my major career. When I stopped working, I returned to my love of language, and began my writing again. I have numerous publishing credits, essays, poems. Some of my credentials include: A National Bronze Merit Award in 2003 for an essay, Here's Memories, a story in A cup of Comfort series, In Sickness and In Muck, 2005, and several contributions in, Retired, by A, Boroughs Books, 2006.
