Dr. White is a veteran teacher of English and related subjects, including creative writing and public speaking.  She retired from teaching in 2008 after a thirty-five year career, and is now focusing her time on writing.  She is currently working on the posthumous memoir of her parents, based on their daily letters written during World War II.  Her father was an Episcopal priest who served as a chaplain in the 8th Division, 3rd Army, under General George S. Patton.  She lives in Florida.
