S. J. Ferrandi, in addition to being a father, poet and educator, is a full time commercial real estate broker and land developer currently living in the Maryland suburbs. After five years of studying to be a Catholic priest under the Redemptorists Fathers, where he had planned on running an orphanage, he left the seminary and entered Towson State University where he earned his degree in journalism.
