Years ago, I discovered that I had disappeared in the monotony of life.  I began a journey to rediscover myself, and reached the proverbial "fork in the road" in 2006 when my father succumbed to Pancreatic Cancer.  Life was redefined for me, at that moment, my equator.  I found myself in the grief, and rekindled the burning flame I once had for life.  Writing became my elixir, my tonic, and in the quiet hours I spent with my craft, I made peace with all that came before.
