Years ago, I discovered that I had disappeared in the monotony of life.  I began a journey to rediscover myself, and reached the proverbial "fork in the road" in 2006 when my father succumbed to Pancreatic Cancer.  Life was redefined for me, at that moment, my equator.  I found myself in the grief, and rekindled the burning flame I once had for life.  Writing became my elixir, my tonic, and in the quiet hours I spent with my craft, I made peace with all that came before.  I steered away from the path of material aquisitions, and returned to a simpler life of personal fulfillment I found in the age-old craft of story-telling.  I am a story-teller.  I write what I call "real fiction," creating believable characters, facing true-to-life struggles that we face as humans, every day.  I believe one person can save the world, and I believe in the ripple effect of what we put in this world, rather it be good, or bad.  I seek to find the goodness in everyone, but not everyone I meet makes the cut.  I am committed to animal rights, and hope to see a day when shelter cages are empty, and the cries of the unloved are quieted.
