It may sound as if I had no struggles while attempting to earn some money and fame, but nothing could be farther from the truth.  In the writing field, you are judged mainly by the appropriate article you write. An editor doesn't really care if you have a master's degree or wrote a complete book at age eight.  "What have you done lately?" is the refrain.  I learned quickly  never to count on any sale.
