The author began writing in 2005 following a period of research and managed to produce the novel, 'Campbell's Reivers', inspired by the events in Scotland and the Low Countries in the late 16th Century. The novel is a work of fiction but based on a good foundation of European history of that period. It is an adventure story with a bit of attitude - and is certainly not recommended for younger readers.
