When I was four or five, I used to fill yellow lined paper with squiggles that I was sure would magically transform into magnificent prose.  My handwriting never improved, but blogging allows me to write with the same abandon.   While we were living in Moscow I got the idea for Jaguar Sees:  The Lacquer Box.  I used my knowledge of Moscow, travel and my husband's work in nuclear non-proliferation to weave my tale of suspense with a paranormal twist and a touch of humor.
