I have been writing stories and poetry from the age of eight, under the tutelage of my mother, freelance fiction and nonfiction writer JoAnn Unger. I have had poems published in anthologies and local newspapers. I am in the process of submitting some of my short stories for publication. In the meantime, I'm working on a YA fantasy series set in my hometown in the Southern California desert.
