Joan Daulby has always enjoyed writing but it was her sister, who loved reading her letters and stories, who influenced her to expand her goals in this field. Joan began to write and sought out writers within her community.
Joan has been a member of the Mariposa Writers' Group since November, 2006 as well as the founding member of the Writer's Cauldron since March 2008. As part of the Mariposa Writers' Group, she partakes in the organization of their yearly Lake Country Literary Lapses.
