I have had a long career teaching science from Middle School through Graduate School. In my teaching career I became interested in inspiring girls to enter science fields. For the last 20 years of my career, I taught forensic science, and as a child loved Nancy Drew. The ideas of writing a mystery series by marrying my love of forensics with a young female sleuth crystalized, and I created the Annie Tillery Mystery Series.
