I write because I have to. If not, I'd go nuts. There are way too many people and things living inside my head that would claw their way out in less legal ways if I didn't tell their stories. Or so my therapist tells me.

Eliot, C.S. Lewis, George MacDonald, G.K. Chesterton, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Zora Neale Hurston, Langston Hughes, and Ernest Hemingway.
