I've been a freelance writer for 25 years, running my own company and (until I had kids) playing bass in bands.

I'm a history buff and and particularly interested in military history, especially WW2 and the Napoleonic period. Three of my favourite authors are CS Forester, Partrick O' Brian and Bernard Cornwell, so walking in their footsteps seemed like the logical road for me .
