I came from a place where land was parched, crowded, expensive and political conflict reigned. When I left the desert, came to Georgia and saw just how beautiful land could be I was appalled at how it was treated. It's only ours on loan even though we say we "buy" it. We actually "rent" it, for we will die and the land will survive. So land is actually a pawn on a chessboard.
