I wrote my first love song when I was five and my brother still has a copy of it in his wallet. I then went on to form a synth pop band called 'The Naughtiest Girl Was A Monitor', which, before you ask, was named after a collection of Enid Blyton books. We released three singles in the early 80's and an album on vinyl in 2007.
My musical influences are everything from Nat King Cole to Stravinsky and Brian Eno. My favourite songwriters are Leonard Cohen and the late, great Scottish Maverick Jackie Leven.
