Writing was sort of a chore for me in the earlier years. I have dyslexia that went undiagnosed until the early 80's when I was in high school. I was educationally beaten down by teachers that, despite their own education, were not educated on how to handle a student with learning disabilities.

Needless to say, it wasn't until I was in class with someone to this day, that I consider the greatest teacher ever; Mr Robert Sampson of the Gloucester Public Schools. He was the first one to see my potential.
