Writing was sort of a chore for me in the earlier years. I have dyslexia that went undiagnosed until the early 80's when I was in high school. I was educationally beaten down by teachers that, despite their own education, were not educated on how to handle a student with learning disabilities. Needless to say, it wasn't until I was in class with someone to this day, that I consider the greatest teacher ever; Mr Robert Sampson of the Gloucester Public Schools. He was the first one to see my potential. After being officially diagnosed with a Perceptual, Visual Motor form of Dyslexia, I spent two years at the reknowned school run by the learning disabilities foundation; Landmark School. I was taught, amongst other things, how to write right and with conviction. I was also taught how to learn with ease. After college, I wanted to pay it forward. I started teaching computers for 3 different adult education communities. Then in 2008 I got my break and was hired by Examiner.com and iPhone Life as a technical writer and reviewer. Having successes there, i wanted true writing "completeness". My bucket list, amongst other items, contained 3 syllables; "Write a book". So i did. That part of my bucket list is complete, but I have an addiction to writing. I love it. I am on to another book with another on deck and other ideas scribbled down.
