Someone once asked me why I write Noir Mystery Thrillers, why they can be on the dark side. The answer is simple. Nothing of value or hard lessons are ever earned or learned easily, nor are they found in a frothy atmosphere. That doesn't mean I won't write something comedic or light-hearted, I just believe that timeless ideas are more important to me.
