I was raised the middle of five daughters in south east Michigan and have lived in Michigan all my life. As the middle child I learned to go with the flow to be able to play with either my older or younger sisters and thus gained a tendency to consider multiple viewpoints when assessing a situation. This has strongly influenced my writing in that I think there is rarely ever one correct 'right' or 'wrong' answer to any given situation and I try to convey that complexity in the situations my characters face.
