I was born and raised in the borough of Queens New York. As a child I was always excited about words, stories and how fascinating they were put together. I remember when I first began to learn words starting with- "See Jane run" and charters like Sally and Spot. Those are my earliest memories of written word and the power it had in telling stories and creating scenes.
