Doug Oudin served as Harbormaster on Catalina Island for 32 years. He wrote a weekly article for the Catalina Islander Newspaper for 21 years, and also wrote for the Log Newspaper, Los Angeles/San Diego. His many years at sea, both as Harbormaster, and as a fisherman and explorer, help to bring his writing tales to life.
