I grew up in South Bend, Indiana, and after living in France, Alaska, and the East Coast settled in Cincinnati, Ohio. I am married, with three adult children. I grew up in a progressive Catholic home.I have always been active in peace and social justice work, and currently belong to a small community in the Catholic tradition. I was in psychoanalysis for seven years as a young mother. This made a great impact on my life.
