Hugh Harris is a retired pastor, artist, and writer in the Richmond, Virginia suburb of North Chesterfield.  His life experiences have been varied, all of which feeds his life-long interest in art and writing.

He grew up in a major city then moved to a rural area; served in the US Army, both National Guard and active Army; traveled in Europe and the Middle East; acted in little theater productions; sang in church choirs; achieved degrees in sociology and theology; owned his own corporation producing and selling his art works.
