For most of my adult life I have pursued and nutured my passion for history, both
ancient and military, which has motivated me to read and research extensively on
these subjects. This well-spring of information, combined with my college major of
English Literature, inspired my writing. Beginning over twenty years ago with
magazine articles focusing primarily on WWII armor and tactics, I have since
embraced historical fiction as a way to populate history with living, breathing
