I was born in Brooklyn and when I was a year old, I contracted polio. At the time, they didn't have any advance medications so surgery was the only option. I was brought up in a polio hospital called St. Charles Hospital, in Port Jefferson, NY. I was educated by nuns and even today, my eighth grade teacher lives on although she is one hundred years old now. She was always a doll. I find my favorite hobby is reading and listening to music.
