Anthony Wynn served on active duty in the United States Air Force, including tours of duty with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in Belgium and Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia. He also served as Wing Historian for the 939th Rescue Wing of the U.S. Air Force Reserve. During this period, Anthony's interest in writing began to bloom as editor of two periodicals, and his first professional article (an interview with actor Martin Landau) was published in SFTV magazine.
