I'm a Rhymer. The first time I remember writing a poem was for the school newspaper, the Clarion. I wasn't too keen on poems until I started writing about God. There's no end to the inspiration that comes from thinking about Him and reading the Bible.
I believe He gives the words for many of my poems. I can tell the difference when I am writing in my own power, and when I am depending on God and He is telling me what to write. Sometimes it is as if He is dictating the words; other times I wake with words in my mind and know they are important and must be more...
