Yes, my name does have a funny spelling, but I assure you I come from a good family and am reasonably normal in all other respects. I’ve had a fairly uneventful childhood, the reasonable normality of which was only slightly marred by foreign locale and, perhaps, one too many elementary school ground fights (what can I say, children!).
