I was born in Cyprus, a country which fought for centuries to secure liberty, democracy and justice. My country is a key for my motivation. Maybe this was the reason I started writing poems since I 15. In the period 1965-67 my poems were broadcast, “on the air”, by the CBC (Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation) and soon after were included in the “Anthology of Young Poets of Cyprus”. Maybe this is the motivation that I want to promote my poetry all over the world (let the people judge how worthy they are).
