I've been writing since before I was a teenager, and had several poems and articles published while still in high school. I signed my first song contract in 1961, and over the years have seen many of my songs published and recorded by various country music entertainers. I've had a couple that made the Top 40 Billboard charts, and a few more that became number one in the Independant Charts. I have been an avid reader all of my life, and my main influences were Phillip Jose Farmer and Edgar Rice Burroughs.
