I live in a cottage by the sea in South Australia with hens, dogs, spiders, some very large cabbages and the sound of waves.

I've been a teacher, lecturer, tutor, rouseabout, deck hand and biscuit sorter. All fascinating pursuits but I'd much rather be a writer and go to work in my slippers.
