I grew up reading the works of Stephen King, Anne Rice, Clive Barker, Dan Simmons, Sidney Sheldon, Mario Puzo, Dan Brown, J.K. Rowling and J.R.R. Tolkien. But my recent literary revivval has been inflamed by the refreshing prose of Eleanor Catton, Margaret Atwood, Suzzanna Clark, Matthew Pearl, James Clavell and George R. R. Martin.
