I have been active in about every field of art. Hey, I even play a little harmonica. After being discharged from the Navy in 1954, I returned to Mattoon, IL and soon became a member of the Mattoon Fire Dept. My work schedule, 24hrs on and 48hrs off let me engage in all sorts of avocations, and believe me, I tried quite a few.
