I wrote and delivered a lot of sermons and was surprised when I discovered the gift of poetry. In 3 years I have written over 350 poems -- and some of them are even good. The poem which got me started was about my father giving me a desk. It was a very emotional poem and it has the title, "The Old Metal Desk."
