Born in Manchester, UK, and worked for a year in Australia after University. He decided that Australia was the only place to live but worked in Belfast, Northern Ireland for a year while waiting for approval to migrate. That experience formed the basis for the storyline for Simon's first book, Ripples of Revenge, a political thriller with British Government conspiracy and IRA themes.
