Born in Manchester, UK, and worked for a year in Australia after University. He decided that Australia was the only place to live but worked in Belfast, Northern Ireland for a year while waiting for approval to migrate. That experience formed the basis for the storyline for Simon's first book, Ripples of Revenge, a political thriller with British Government conspiracy and IRA themes. Similarly being a prolific traveller, presently to 50 countries, also plays a part in Simon's books.

Unergraduate qualification in Applied Biology, Masters Degree in Business (Marketing), Commission in the Australian Army (retired as Captain). First novel, 'Ripples of Revenge', was published in April 2000, followed by 'Chasing Margaret' in March 2001.

A third book, a hostage drama based on global warming politics, is in the pipeline, and will hopefully be placed with an agent shortly. For readers that prefered 'Ripples of Revenge' to 'Chasing Margaret', this one is back to that genre.
