I've been writing horror stories since the third grade, and I grew up on a steady diet of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and the good old Zebra paperbacks (the ones with either skeletons or kids or skeleton kids on the covers). I write horror because it helps me understand people--good or bad. Everyone is afraid of something.
