I taught my two hearing children to sign. My son, now 6 1/2 years old, started signing at 8 months. My daughter, Molly, now 3 years old, started signing at the age of 4 months. I have looked high and low for children's books that teach sign language and have not found any. So, I decided to combine my love of sign language, with my parenting, teaching and education background, along with my experience running the Baby Signs Program in Arizona, and create my own books that not only teach a valuable lesson, but also ASL signs in each book! more...
